The race for horsepower began in America in the 1950s, but the car that truly launched the era of classic muscle cars was arguably the 1964 Pontiac GTO. The GTO combined Pontiac's muscular 389 cubic-inch V8 with its lightest car, the redesigned, mid-sized '64 Tempest LeMans. This easy-to-build 1:24 scale Revell 2'n1 kit features some of the car's best-remembered factory features, including triple two-barrel "Tri-Power" carburetors, a four-speed manual transmission, and dual exhaust. Instructions are included so skilled builders can convert the two-door "Post" coupe body into a hardtop. Optional street parts include a second hood, cut out to accommodate the chrome-plated blower with dual four-barrel fans and intake manifold. Other hot-rod goodies include a raised rear suspension and custom 1980s-style wheels. The parts are included to build your 1964 Pontiac GTO in stock condition or as a street car. A meticulously detailed 389 V8 engine with Tri-Power carburetors or optional blower with dual four-barrel fans. An authentic interior with bucket seats and a finely crafted four-on-the-floor shifter. Tampo-printed redline tires. An all-new decal sheet with multiple sets of custom stripes.

Assembly and painting required. Kit does not include model cement glue, paint, and tools. Adult supervision where required.
